After filling dr-hd100 with 92 gigs of footage, I copied the footage to an ext firewire drive on my mac. I then deleted the footage on the firestore by moving it to the trash. Now it reads as full, and the display reads 000min.

What is the correct way of deleting the footage from the firestore?

Do I need to format the fs now?

For future reference, though, what is the proper way to remove footage???? fomatting???
