Does anyone have these locally still, I will host them...
would really like to see them
Looking for all clips from dvx100.... thanks
Used the search function for:
24prackfocus.mov
but can't find anything, but really thought I found that here would like that thread as well...
30P progressive scanning motion test (19 MB):
http://66.78.26.17/~reli/24P/30P.avi
This clip is just the train going around the track, but recorded at 30P instead of 24P. You can also see some progressive-scan twitter on the train tracks.
60i->24P (31 MB):
http://66.78.26.17/~reli/24P/60i24P.avi
This is one of the few clips that I recorded at 60i, and it shows the train and some other motion. Then it cuts to 24P of the same subject material, so you can see the difference in motion rendering and vertical resolution.
Full-frame head shot/focus shift (22 MB):
http://66.78.26.17/~reli/24P/24PFocus.avi
This is not a clip I intended to post, but since it's one of the few headshots I captured, and since it does shift focus between faces, those of you interested in DOF might find it instructive. This was shot at maximum telephoto, wide-open aperture. The woman in focus at the beginning of the clip was maybe 5 feet closer than the man it shifts focus to. The background behind him was maybe a hundred feet away.
