I am very interested in purchasing Vegas pro 8 on Sept 10. I am simply wondering if it accomodates canon's new 24f/30f system.

I am under the belief they are essentially the same thing as 24p as far as NLE is concerned.

Vegas works well with the XLH1 and the A1/G1, but the HV20 doesn't insert flags as the others do.

Can't wait to get this software. I use Avid professionally and adobe at home.

I hope the learning curve when switching from adobe is minimal.
