If you are using variable bit rate, the more motion you have, the higher the file size will be.............I think :) Mark Stavar September 23rd, 2007, 08:55 PM My understanding is that content can effect output size as the compression typically uses a form of delta'ing, comparing one frame with the next: the more that changes, the more that needs to be written out. Ciao, marks Jeff Harper September 23rd, 2007, 10:08 PM Thanks guys, I have found amazingly little on this in a couple of quick attempts at googling for info. I was rendering at quality VBR rate, then tried the others and found that Bit Rate VBR (peak) is comparable in quality, and a bit smaller in file size. A 2min file I rendered today was 75% larger than another with the same settings though...amazing. |
