I've got the Lomo lenses, but I can't use them until I get a mount to fit them onto the adapter. I need to finish an urgent shoot and can't get one made in time.

If any one has a mount for Oct-19 lenses to either a redrock m2 or a P+S Technik mini35 and you're thinking of selling it...please email me!!!

I would jump at the chance to buy that adapter, however, I have been told that it doesn't work. Here is what they say on lensmount.com

"Many people think it’s just a matter of buying a simple PL
or OCT-19 mount and it will work. But they soon find out
it’s not that simple. It needs to have the right flange and
the right rear lens in order for it to work. Recently we
have had a lot of people who bought a simple mount
somewhere else or out of Ebay because they thought to
be cheaper, and then came to us when they got
frustrated because they couldn’t make it work. The sad
thing is that they ended up spending money twice
instead of saving money.
Unless you can machine your own parts and can get the
right rear lens a simple stand-alone mount is not the way.
"

If someone could tell me how to make it work...I would buy it!

I believe the Brevis has an Oct-19 mount available. You might want to see if you can borrow one of those on their forums.

Thanks for the great suggestion, except that I'm in Australia and the only adapters for hire here are the m2 and the P & S Technic.

If you were going to purchase just a mount, and rent an adapter,
It would make more sense to purchase a Brevis 35 with the lens mount you need. That way you are always fully prepared for these "Urgent" shoots.

The Brevis does not require rear lenses or any "helper" optics in the mount for use with an OCT19 or PL mount lens. The OCT19 mount was recently updated to include the micro-collimation features that every mount on the Brevis now shares. This means setup in minutes, and full frame (often better FOV than the film equivalent!) performance with these lenses. We have a very nice set of the 28mm, 50mm and 80mm LOMO lenses that we use here often.
