While filming this spider packaging a previous captured bee, another bee flew full speed into the web right next to the spider as I was rolling. It struggled for about 12 seconds and then managed to get free, lucky bee dumb spider. I could probably go a really long time and not get something like this again in a natural situation.

I tried to attach a 2.7Mb clip of this event, but the upload failed as usual, even though the clip was way under the limit specied for wmv files.

Shot with a XL H1,Tokina 80-200mm, and a Nikon TC14A TC.

When that stuff happens it's magic.
I'm currently filming a 250 acre property here in Aust and a few times i have been in the right place as you have been but try and look for it..........
I was watching this doco about a bird in the jungles and the camera person sat in the same spot everyday waiting for this bird to appear for two weeks.

love to hear your story about this, sad that you didn't manage to upload the wmv-file, would love to watch it!
This is situations which most people don't think how hard it is to capture, but wildlife photgraphers like us do!

We have a forum where we can post wmv clips. The stated guidelines for the max file size is 4.67Mb, but the system is broken. As long as your under 2 Mb, there's a good chance you will achieve an upload, maybe. If you feel strongly enough, jump on Chris Hurd to look into this presistant problem.....
