I have three impressions.

Your work looks generally very professional. The variety of styles is impressive. The special effects and cinematography are on par with any of the mid-budget MTV music videos I have seen in recent years.

I also thought it odd that you have hip-hop videos. Has hip-hop made it that far around the world or do you also work in the U.S.?

I said generally very professional because a few shots looked like they had soft focus. I assume you are using a 35mm adapter. A few shots looked like the camera wasn't focused on the adapter screen properly. The shots still looked decent, but they weren't as good as some of the others.

Most important is that you have good composition and your editing and coloring are appropriate for the different styles.

overall it was good, but some shots were way too long. And the reel itself, is too long. You could choose your best shots and put them together into 2min clip. Im always interested in directors reels, but I had to fast forward all the time in your reel.

So i suggest, make it shorter and keep up a good work!

I thought I looked amazing! great job! I'm curious... Are you using a 35mm adapter? what camera do you use?

Hi Ram,

Some really nice work there.

As for a reel, change the music, cut it faster and make it shorter - way shorter. Then augment the minireel with 30 sec clips of different jobs.

Also, why the black mask? Just render it out in your desired ratio.

Overall, excellent work, you've got talent.

Liam.

I have to agree with the comments about the music. For the length of the reel, it's way too slow and monotonic. I would suggest either shortening the reel, or transitioning to something a LITTLE more upbeat along the way.

Good composition and nice technical work with the reflections and flares. I would suggest cutting between desaturated shots and those with color more frequently. Long stretches of the reel come across as bleak.
