The lighting is really nice one all of those, but it is a bit "flat" on most. In other words, you have bright, you have mid, and you have dark, but not a lot of variation in those, especially in the mid. On the ones with the mug, for example, you might want to have just a very small, narrow light illuminating the Starbucks words just slightly. Actually, you could do that in post as well by applying a curves or brightness/contrast with a heavily feathered mask just to that area.

All in all, looks very nice!

I used two 500 watt workout lights outside of my window at 9 PM so it was pitch black out and then set the lights on a table high and above...

So I'm glad you guys liked it... I didn't do much color correction if any...

Hi Scott,

#1 (220) and #4 (204) had far too much background lighting for my tastes - not what you'd expect for a commercial. The lighting was improved on #2 & #3 - the blind shadow rays across the clock provided a nice cookie effect and the cat's silhouette also helped motivate the shot. I didn't feel like you did a lot of motivated or modeling with your lighting and apparently used "as is" colors which may/may not be best for your target audience.

Good luck, Michael

I didn't actually like the clock shot.. I didn't feel it gave a good enough message that I was trying to come across... Also I liked the colors so thats why I left them.
