Combustion does NOT import -mpeg files from HDV captured in Premiere CS2.
It imports all the other .mpg files.
I've changed .mpeg to .mpg but nothing
Any advice?
Thanks

Probably the Premiere imports are transport streams. Remux them to program streams using Remuxts or Mpegstreamclip.

I'm using Premiere CS2.
It does not have CineForm. It creates *.mpeg files from an HDV capture.
Form a DV capture it creates regular DV avi files.
Premiere works properly with the 1440x1080 .mpeg files,
but Combustion (on another PC) does not import them.
The same Combustion imports properly .mpg files.
(Yes, I've changed the .mpeg to .mpg, but nothing)
My only solution was inside Premiere CS2:
- capture HDV to .mpeg files
- export to QT with Photo Jpeg Codec in 1440x1080
- Combustion imports the QT files.
Is there a better solution?
Better image quality without going to LARGEEEEEE uncompressed files ?

As I said, I suspect your captured .mpeg files are transport streams. Many applications that can open an mpeg program stream cannot open an mpeg transport stream.
It is fast and lossless to remux from a ts to a ps using either of the (free) programs that I suggest.
I may be wrong about this being the issue Combustion is having, but I suggest try a remux and see what happens.

I've tried to download the Mpegstreamclip but it's for MAC
I downloaded TsRemux v.0.0.18
It says this from the .mpeg file created on PremierePro CS2:
___DTCP Info
____DTCP Descriptor not present
___File Format: TS(188 byte packets)
I've outputed to the 3 formats available
- M2TS (192 byte packets)
- TS (188 byte packets)
- Blu-Ray
NONE is imported in Combustion.
If I don't find a TS to PS I'll go for the QT export.

PC version here - http://www.squared5.com/svideo/mpeg-streamclip-win.html
Remuxts.exe available here: http://www.yamabe.org/softbody.html
The steps with remuxts are as follows:
1) Load the transport stream file into the "Input filename" box.
2) Click 'Get PID'
3) Click 'Add'
4) Click 'Start'
By default a new version of your file will be sent to your c:/ directory (although you can change the folder if you wish).
