Any update on timecoding? We do multi-cam events, capturning to cineform AVI via HDLink, and it would be a big boon to us if we could keep the timecode in fact, for auto-syncing the free-running t/c. Support for Movs would be fine too, presuming that vegas will read that in.

Also, I asked a few months back for a "Capture From Start" button in HD Link ... as I find it annoying that I have to wait for the tape to rewind before being at hand to hit the capture button. Would be nice if a one-click "rewind then start capturing" button was added... surely that's just UI? :)

Many thanks,

Kris

Hear, hear! for timecoding.
Would be a big help with multicamera shoots :-)

Aye, though it wouldn't help me presently, free run timecode would be a nice asset for many, I'm sure.

I have a looming issue here- auto-syncing of free-running TCs when recording double-system on a HDV cam and free-running CF recorder.

I've not had to do this yet, but it's on the horizon.

I know it's on the list David, but are we talking weeks, months?

I don't understand how this relates to me being able to read a "start timecode" out of the AVI via Vegas Script for auto-syncing ... :)
