Hey guys.. I have Production Studio CS3 as well as Audition 2.0. And back in the last version of Premiere, I used to be able to right click on an audio-clip in the timeline and choose to open in Audition 2.0 to edit and replace. But now that option is no longer there, only the option to open in Soundbooth and edit.

I mean, I have both Audition 2.0 and Soundbooth CS3, so I would like to be able to use both just by right-clicking on the audio clip in my Premiere timeline. Anyone know how I can get the 'Edit in Audition' option back? Thanks.

Feature Request Sent... thanks guys!

...Man... you'd think Adobe would at least 'keep' that feature instead of tossing it completely. I don't get it.

I know you said you would like to use both but does the Audition option come back if you uninstall soundbooth? I only ask because they may only expect people to use one or the other as Audition can do anything Soundbooth can.

No, Edit in Adobe Audition does not come back when you uninstall Soundbooth.

However, you can select the audio and use Render and Replace followed by Edit Original to launch Audition and edit your audio.
