I would say to head over to the list of forum sponsors and make a few calls. You'll be supporting the forums as well as getting a great camera.

Last I called B&H just over a week ago they were getting in more than was spoken for. That could have changed since then but if you call now there is a chance to get in on the first wave of shipped units.

There are cameras in the hands of fellow Americans now so they are starting to ship here. I hope to have my hands on one in the next week.

Mines on it's way 2-day air, should be here Wednesday.

from what I here by calling around ( USA ) is that they are either in transit to you now ( if you ordered one early enough ) or you won't get one until mid december.

Abel tells me that their 1st batch should be in tomorrow.... and thats it till med dec.

My dealer told me that they would trickle in (a couple a week) for the next 2 or 3 weeks and they would get bigger shipments in Dec. So I am looking at Mid Dec and I pre-ordered Mid-october.
