I have been using Vegas since 4.0. Recently I have upgraded to Vegas 7 and more recently Pro 8 with Cinescore.

My question is...can I sell my older copy of Vegas 7 to someone else? Given that it has serial numbers and registration previously registered to me will whomever buys it be able to register it themselves?

Has anyone done this? How simple was it?

Yes, you can and it is simple. Only the buyer does not have upgrade rights. Licence transfer is through the www.sonycreativesoftware.com

There is/used to be a 'tranfer licence link' somewhere but I can't find it. Just contact customer support and they will tell you what to do.
