Has anyone else experienced that the SxS card provided by Sony not mounting?

I want to see if anyone had encountered the problem, if that is because my Mac Book Pro's express card bus is worn out.
The card should be fine, it never failed to mount in the EX1, but any incompatibility in the size for Apple?

Evidently, the card does not go deep enough to make the connection. So I have to push it deeper and hold it then it mounts okay (but which is really hard to do).

I'm going to let you know what happens when I get to try with other Mac Book Pros.

Do you have the drivers for SxS installed on your Mac?

Edit: I missed that you wrote it mounts sometimes. Ignore the above.

I can't get the Express Card to mount at all on my MacBook Pro - with drivers installed. I've resorted to USB. I always assumed it was a software issue - never considered that it might be mechanical.

I'll try what you describe.

Ah, there you go, so it must be the geometry incompatibility. Can't tell which is wrong though.
Eric, make sure you don't have any important clips in the card.
It might destroy the structure of the volume when you mount and unmount unexpectedly.

By the way, to clarify, my Mac Book Pro is the first generation one.
