I have footage shot on a GY110 that needs to be digitized to PC and I cannot find a BR50 here in Las Vegas for rent from any of the rental houses.. Are there any other decks / brands that can play back 720P 24FPS ?

Thanks in advance

Hi Mike
If you can't find a deck you can always use your camera as a deck

Sorry Mike i should have ask you if you own or rented the 110

If you own the Camera you may wan't to look in to buying a Focus Dr hd100
and go tapeless. no need for a Br 50

just a thought

I just did that this week. Captured about 10 tapes, then dragged and dropped into my raid. So only used 30 minutes of computer time transfering the files... Since I'm using Final Cut Studio 1.. (Huge issues with capturing 720p HDV, however the new firmware and FCS2 sounds as if it was fixed) I skipped the $700 upgrade to my software and spent $1,500 on a HD100. Very happy, though I still feel I'm going by brail with the HD100 menus.

something to consider.

Thanks for the recommendation - unfortunately I only rented the camera for a shoot... Looks like I am in trouble as it is a time sensitive project...argh

Could you find a JVC camera for rent in Vegas? Might be easier than finding a deck.
