I am interested if any one has incorporated the "movie" abilities of the Google Earth Pro version and how it has integrated with 720P? The yearly fee of $400 is a little salty and I was hoping to have some input before writing the check.

thanks,

My brother uses a Google Earth Pro workstation to create movies but has encountered a problem - the AVI files created by GEPro do not seem to render properly.

I was wondering if you had signed up and, if so, would you share your experience?

Want to avoid the 400$, then look at worldwind by nasa, it is virtually google earth (GE use it as it's base) but is rights free. There is a built in movie recorder in it. You can do any size render in HD.

The trick is, it is not exactly user friendly and will take some time to get nice smooth fly ins. You have to create simple scripts for the movie maker to tell it what to record. You can also add on to it with a wealth of plugins.

Best of luck
