I have a long video (30 minutes) and I am looking for a quick and easy way to make cuts and transitions in it randomly. It is a sport video of an entire game, so it doesn't have to be anything fancy, just random cuts and transitions along a video and shorten it to a specific length - any suggestions?

I don't know of any script designed to do exactly what you're describing. Excalibur contains the "Extract Good Clips" tool but you'd have to put regions around the sections you want to keep. Of course Excalibur and Ultimate S could add a series of regions but they wouldn't necessarily be "random".

It could certainly be done but would require a specialized script to meet your needs.
