I did another day of shooting with the Brevis and the EX1.

The first shoot was at a playground on a snowy day. I was running out of light.

This time I shot on a sunny day near some rail road tracks.

The file is bigger for your viewing pleasure (or not), but still compressed for the web. It's a H264 quicktime movie.

Nice filmic look. I did notice some vignetting. Is there a way around that?

Jay,

Could you tell us what bitrate your file was encoded at?

The screen size is nice and big and it did not take very long to load.

Thanks

It was an H264 file. I think I did a screen size half of the original 1280 x 1080 (640 x 540). As far as compression settings, I just picked stream high quality (it's a final cut pro Quicktime preset). I hope that helps.

Every other clip I've seen from this camera evidences the 420 color, but I am very impressed by your clips. Did you do any color correction to get it this way? Did you capture direct to FCP to achieve a higher 422 color space?
