We've been shooting 1080i on our SonyXDcamHD but we'd like to try 720p. However, we can't find out how to do this in the owner's manual. Can anyone help?

I think all the XDCAM HD cameras, except the EX1, only shot 1080. -A Greg Boston February 5th, 2008, 05:06 PM What Andrew said. The EX-1 is the only XDCAM HD camera that shoots in 720. When the PDW-F700 arrives, it will do 720. F330/335 or F350/355 it's 1080 only. -gb- Matthew Pugerude February 5th, 2008, 10:01 PM The XDCAM HD Camera's Do have a progressive mode is that is what your were after. It even has a 24p Mode so... why were you trying to do 720p when you can get a 1080p picture. You can do 24p, 25p and 30p take your pick. |
