Wondering if there are any cool expos or film festivals to go to that are held on the east coast.

If you've read my posts, you'll likely agree that I know just enough to be dangerous. I'm with MDreyes----I wonder what DV seminars you'd particularly recommend. I've put about 4 months of intensive study into Pinnacle DV-500 and the GL-1---just bought a new XL-1s....I'm interested in just about anything taught well about either.

Also, I'm deaf. Like, totally, with a so-so cochlear implant---so I need a small group where i can lip read and the instructor knows to face the group.
