My name is Nancy Scott and I'm a freelance writer and graphic designer living and working in the Washington Metro area. I have very little experience in film, but I'm willing to try a leap from PageMaker and Quark to Premiere... if my writing partner and I can get our story into the camera, that is.

We have a short script that will be our initial focus. We're looking for a few folks from the general area to work with as we try to produce the film. All the locations are within an hour or two's drive. (Just took another look at "Burden of Dreams." Our short does involve a boat but we won't be dragging it up a mountain. Promise) After all, how hard could it be?

Hope to make some good connections and have fun!

Just to update. I am working in Downtown Arlington and have an apartment on Columbia Pike at the Arlington/Fairfax county line.

I have a good sized aprtment for the money and it's sparsely furnished. Maybe could be used for some interior shooting? Good light and reasonably quiet. Free beer.
