Can anyone point to me a keyboard template that can be imported to asign Vegas w/ keystrokes similar to what Avid uses?

My VASST training DVD says this exists, but I'm having a hard time locating such a file through Google.

THANKS MUCH.

P.S. I know I can manually assign keys, but I'd like to import a template if at all possible. Thanks again.

AVID keyboards are completely customizable. They start off with 'standard' keys like JKL for shuttling, I and O for In and Out points, etc. But most editors customize the keys for their particular workflow, then save their user settings and take them with when they have to go into a finishing suite or some other system. Put your setting in, and the AVID works and LOOKS exactly the way you are used to.

Richard,

I have an MS keyborad that I use with Avid (not an Avid keyboard). I'm just trying to find a template that can be loaded into Vegas to reasign some of Vegas's shortcuts to mimic Avid.

I've been told they are floating out there, but haven't been able to track one down yet.

Thanks.
