Herman Van Deventer February 15th, 2008, 07:47 AM Nec launch HDDVD BURNER ! http://www.digital-digest.com/news-59813.html Jim Day February 15th, 2008, 08:14 AM What's your point? That article is 2 years old. Emre Safak February 15th, 2008, 11:03 AM Did you miss the news? The game is over: HD-DVD is dead. Herman Van Deventer February 15th, 2008, 11:45 AM Yeah Yeah , That count's for the Toshiba SDH903a burner too, that was launched last year. I was merely hoping to get a reply like this : "Bro. forget about HDDVD or Blu-Ray or visa versa, I am burning my titles with this burner, this media, and play my final masterpiece on this set top player with ZERO negative issues" I need a proper delivery vehicle for my HD productions clogging up my PC. Ted Ramasola February 15th, 2008, 01:40 PM I screened an HD production using WMV HD running from the PC server of the theater to their DLP while waiting for them to settle the format wars. I also stored a copy of my finished HD edits as WMV HD in a folder together with the authored SD DVD that i give to my clients to future proof their materials. Ted Ervin Farkas February 16th, 2008, 08:39 PM Has anyone played around with DivX in HD? It's a shame this compression is not a lot more popular! It amazed me over and over back in SD times, I really have to give it a try in HD... Giroud Francois February 17th, 2008, 04:10 AM it is not a problem of compression, it is a problem of playing it. for instance DivX is pretty limited to a few players |
