I just got my QC-120 and small camera mount and the setup has been working really well for me. Being able to use one of my Canon Batteries to power the device is also a huge plus as I only have to worry about one type of charger. The NTFS format is also welcome as I don't have to deal with lots of small 2GB files. The on the front panel also works well with the small camera mount as you can still use every button even when it is mounted under your camera.

I have pics and more info up on my site about my experiences so far.

So far I have captured about 15 hours worth of content and have pretty much resorted to using tape only as a back up.

We have the same set up with 2 of our Canon A1's. Initially thought that it would hinder me on more creative handheld shots but actually it actually balances the camera quite well...little heavier but to me that adds to the stability. Waiting for nNovia or Mac to help with the HD files for FCP.

Ooops...didn't see the thread about nNovia solution to this.
