Hi.
Just installed the PPro Tryout, I'm an FCP user and I'm considering switching to PPro for the AE integration. Everything looks fine except that there are no icons in the Tools palette except for the Pen tool. Also, the HDV presets are not available from the "New Project" DB. The HDV folder is visible but it's empty. Any ideas?

Hi Paolo,

HDV presets aren't present in the tryout version of PPro, unfortunately. Icons should be there, though. Try to switch to some other Workspace under "Window" menu. I know you probably know this, but you will not click them eventually, as you will learn keyboard shortcuts :)

Interesting enough I was able to create my own preset for HDV and it seems to be working. Don't understand the rationale behind it but anyway....

Tried that. I think this is an issue with Leopard. I received some error messages the first time I started the program, about not being able to access some Pict files, that's probably the issue. I noticed that the try-out version is stuck at 3.0 while there have been updates. Got the Keyboard layout DB so I was able to find the kbd shortcuts. Unfortunate that there are no menu equivalents.
Thanks anyway.
