Hey Guys,
I just bought a laptop with the AMD Turion 64 X2 processor. I checked on the AMD site and it is said to support SSE/SSE2/SSE3
Here's the URL:
http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/ProductInformation/0,,30_118_13909_13913,00.html
Anyway, I also took the liberty to check on the Athlon processors which are boldly stated to not support SSE2 on the FAQ of the PPCS3 site, when in fact, the AMD Athlon site says it does.
Link:
http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/ProductInformation/0,,30_118_15183_15207,00.html
My question is why did Adobe post that AMD Athlon processors do not support SSE2?
And more importantly, has anyone, or does anyone use AMD TURION 64 X2 on their workstations and have they ever encountered any problems?
I need to know ASAP. I only have 13 days left to return my laptop if I will have any issues.
Thanks for the help!
