Hi All!

First let me thank all of the informative posters that have made my transition from 35mm photography to video.

I took the plunge and picked up a very good condition Canon GL1 a few days ago. I have shot with a DVX100 and played with an HVX200, but the GL1 is the first prosumer camcorder of my very own.

So far I'm happy with it, just one major complaint and that's not being able to adjust the mic levels. Coming from an audio background I find it frustrating. I hear BeachTek has some great units to assist with that...

Anyways, I just wanted to introduce myself and I hope to contribute to the board...
