I have some MPEG files that play fine in QT and other video programs but when I try to import them into FCP6, they do not have any audio! What the heck is going on? Please help! Thanks.
View Full Version : HELP! FCP Imports MPEG files without audio! Jim Duggins March 21st, 2008, 05:20 PM I have some MPEG files that play fine in QT and other video programs but when I try to import them into FCP6, they do not have any audio! What the heck is going on? Please help! Thanks. Nate Schmidt March 21st, 2008, 05:24 PM I would suggest converting them into a format FCP likes better, such as DV NTSC or something like that. Download MPEG Streamclip to do all those conversions for you. Jim Duggins March 21st, 2008, 05:38 PM Thanks, giving it a try now. The converter sure is slow and I have an hour's worth of footage to convert. At least it's broken up into 10 minute files. ***fingers crossed*** Jim Duggins March 23rd, 2008, 11:30 PM It totally worked. I'm stoked! Thanks. |
