After shooting and trying I noticed the slomo is very unsharp.
I know it shoots in a lower resolution, but unless I am doing something wrong I can better use slomo in Premiere Pro CS3.
Anyone else noticing this vagueness?
Am I doing something wrong, or is is the camera as it is?

Although I have not tried this feature myself (Im actually scared I will rium the ONLY shot I have of the Bride coming down the isle) I have always been told never let the camera do ANY tricks - always do it in post.

I have the HC-3 & I think it is using the same slo-mo system. pretty much all you can do to improve the quality is to make sure that you have a lot of light. (any professional slow motion photography / videography has a TON of light.)

if you're slowing down your video 50% for long periods of time, the slow motion feature doesn't make sense.

but if you are trying to capture a single action & have it be very smooth, then you have a great feature built in. shooting 120fps is going to produce much smoother motion than slowing down video in your NLE.

here is a good example of what these cams are good for

but if you need resolution more than smoothness, slow the video down in post
