thank you thank you...my daughter are very hard to work with! They would not sit still and I had to fend for the camera as they almost dumped the whole soapy cone into the camera in the last take....

The relay is an Mtf services nikon mount with a 24mm/f2.8 nikon lens. I would like to try this with the hd200 with reverse scan, hooked up strait to a redrock or sgpro.

I wonder how this would look...would be a great comparison. I hear that LetUs is almost ready to come up with their own style MTF relay? No idea. As far as I can tell there is no significant cropping..just a little bit from all edges...but I can't tell exactly how much. If I would have to guess, I would say I am pretty close to the full GG image.

at f2.8 you would be loosing a lot of light, there might be better lenses out there that are much faster, and could work well if done right. I would love to see some HD size footage from this, or something thats at least 3x the size of what you posted. That way i can check sharpness and image quality.

My problem right now is that there is too much light coming in...as if it were being magnified. When I did this little test, I tried to mimic the normal shooting situations I normally find myself in. I do a lot of documentary work where I have to "shoot & run"...blasting sun and no light. I shot this piece at 12 noon and then moved under total shade. I had read that the HDV needs a lot of light...especially the HD100...so I was surprised with the results I got.

I would love to see some HD size footage from this, or something thats at least 3x the size of what you posted. That way i can check sharpness and image quality.
