OH man, that piece is so beautiful - those little ones are amazing...that sneeze - that's priceless - what a great moment to have captured! Beautiful daughters; beautiful daughters! And the bubble pop? *sniff!

(Maybe I'm drinking too much soy milk...)

thank you thank you...my daughter are very hard to work with! They would not sit still and I had to fend for the camera as they almost dumped the whole soapy cone into the camera in the last take....

I give all the credit to them and LetUs...I am just a slave to the trade

Now, c'mon. tell us what the relay is. Looks like a Leica wide to me. What is it?

Good work Charles!

I love the music, very cute.

I also love the look you get with that lens and the depth of field.

Thanks for posting.

The relay is an Mtf services nikon mount with a 24mm/f2.8 nikon lens. I would like to try this with the hd200 with reverse scan, hooked up strait to a redrock or sgpro.

You are correct sir...you just took the words out of my mouth....

I wonder how this would look...would be a great comparison. I hear that LetUs is almost ready to come up with their own style MTF relay? No idea. As far as I can tell there is no significant cropping..just a little bit from all edges...but I can't tell exactly how much. If I would have to guess, I would say I am pretty close to the full GG image.

at f2.8 you would be loosing a lot of light, there might be better lenses out there that are much faster, and could work well if done right. I would love to see some HD size footage from this, or something thats at least 3x the size of what you posted. That way i can check sharpness and image quality.

Let me know if this is possible, i would be very interested to see how it looks large.

My problem right now is that there is too much light coming in...as if it were being magnified. When I did this little test, I tried to mimic the normal shooting situations I normally find myself in. I do a lot of documentary work where I have to "shoot & run"...blasting sun and no light. I shot this piece at 12 noon and then moved under total shade. I had read that the HDV needs a lot of light...especially the HD100...so I was surprised with the results I got.

How about this...it's bigger...about a 61MB file

So with your relay lens, how long is your entire setup?
