If you are in LA, Canon will be here on Wednesday, April 30th from 6-9pm for a post NAB wrap-up. Tim Smith, manager of Pro Video Products will be here with the NEW Canon products they will intoduce at NAB. Also, Robert Sanders, who used his H1 to shoot the feature "THE BLACKOUT", will be here to talk about the production, camera, and workflow. The fact you said that the Canon manager of pro video products will be there to show the NEW Canon products they will introduce at NAB is VERY EXCITING. At least this confirms they will introduce something new in the pro video arena ...

Here's to the new XL-H2 :)

or at least a new viewfinder for the current H1 ...

Good to see the cat is out of the bag and I don't have to keep my mouth shut. Canon will be here showing the H1s and the H1a cameras so if you miss NAB and you're in LA, see ya on the 30th.

Just a reminder to L.A. area folks to put this event on your calenders... I've heard that Robert Sander's film is really amazing with some impressive CGI and that it puts Predator to shame... sure wish I could be there to see it.
