I just ordered that - Should I only use it outdoors and take off when I'm inside?

I have some 43mm filters (from my Canon HV20 and Panasonic GS250) so I just got a 37mm to 43mm step up ring and use them. Also have the Canon wide angle converter which is 43mm so it makes it easy to use that well.
