Our judge for UWOL #8 has won multiple awards for his work.

He has an amazing eye for composition and a remarkable will to go the extra mile to get the best possible shots...

He has always liked to be out in the wild. His background is in the army, where he served in the special forces for several years before he developed a passion for wildlife cinematography. He has been making fabulous short films of Scandinavian wildlife, and you can see more of his work online at:

He has brought a great deal of wisdom and knowledge to the UWOL group since it first began. Please give your regards to our UWOL #8 judge...

Hats off to you Per Johan, only a brave man would judge work done by people who have become his friends over the past year.As we all know you have set a high standard for us to follow, and your comments on our work have always been well recieved congrats

Congratulations Per,
I think this really reinforces what we all think about your film making skills here at UWOL. I think it's a great to have your work critiqued by your peers, but to be the actual judge of this round must be a real thrill for you!

Regards,

Bryce

Welcome Per. You are certainly a well-respected member of the UWOL team and your work is an inspiration to all of us. We look forward to hearing all your judging comments this time round.

(I hope you won't lose out on your T-shirt for missing this one out!)

I should have mentioned that Per has the option to put up a non-compete entry, as I do, so his t-shirt premium is not in jeopardy--if he can handle the pressure of both playing along and judging!

You people think of every angle, though, don't you??

Thanks everybody for your warm welcoming me as the judge for this round!
Meryem asked me and I couldn't resist, could I!?

I know this will be hard to judge as the quality of the videoes has rised a lot lately! I will also make a non-compete entry, just to be in for the t-shirt at the end of this year, I already got 2 of those beautiful shirts already!

Good luck to everybody!

Per,

The only down side of your judging will be the fact that I wont have an entry of yours to be inspired by!!!

I can't think of anyone I would desire to judge more than yourself!!!

I am going to have to make sure i do my best work this round!!!!

I am revved up about this round!!!

I just re-read the rules of the contest. This being my first time and all, the music in my presentation is my own concoction. Any resembling to copy righted melodies and such is purly in the realm of coincidence. All my melodies can be found on my website and I have made them available as share music for others to use including myself. Thanks.
