has any one exporting for YouTube or myspace in Pr CS3? and if so; is the quality poor, fair or good when uploaded?

Make sure you letter box your footage if you shoot in widescreen. Thats the number one thing. Youtube stretches the video and re-compresses it if you don't. It can make it look all grainy. For some reason youtube has not allowed me to upload in their new HQ format yet, but this is the best test I've done lately.

Oh by the way, I exported that using H.264 QT compression through
the adobe media encoder.

Oh by the way, I exported that using H.264 QT compression through
the adobe media encoder.to view in HQ add &fmt=18 to the end of the video url and it works on all videos

I have been using an uploading window for loading all my videos to a range of websites.

I have an account with TubeMogul and I find that it loads, converts and resizes the video based on it's destination site.

I too use H.264 codec to output the movie but in a 720 x 405 size.

I don't have quicktime or flash option but I've found in Premiere Pro 1.5 encoder Windows Media Video WMV works well in a high bitrate and at 720x480. I forget what I have mine set to, but it works out to be about 1 GB = 10 minutes. I take those WMVs and upload them directly

I'm a much bigger fan of Vimeo's HD quality streaming videos. The upload speed is a crawl compared to YouTube, but the quality difference is night and day (and no 10min limit). You have to export H.264 at 5Mbps and 1280x720 for HD output...expect large files!
