Superb. I always love it when I see something new I can steal... errr... I mean admire. The ring timelapse was unique and well done. Are you actually shooting it timelapse or doing that effect in post?

It's kind of odd to see the groom getting some touch up. But I guess that's common there.

It must be fun not having restrictions on movement during the wedding ceremony. You are able to do some much more to create a production. One thing that bothered me was the quick cut at around 1:25? The shot where the bride looks at the tv then you cut to the tv then to her. Didn't seem to fit as it was on there for 1 sec and was a shaky shot. Thanks for inspiring me for my next job next week. I'm going to push myself. Thanks for sharing

Hmmm, I guess it has something to do since the bride is a makeup artist herself... I guess the purpose of that is so he won't look that oily during the ceremony since he told us he sweats a lot. :p

haha, thanks monday! Actually, freedom during the ceremony usually depends on the priest, this one looked kinda friendly so i kinda abused it a little. hahaha!

Hmmm, for that shot, i really dunno since i'm the one shooting and alvin usually edits the SDEs, I guess it was the result of pure pressure. We're not perfect. ^_^

Great stuffs. I couldn't help but smile @ the popsicle ring shot; funny thing is that back in Calgary a few months back Patrick and I did the exact same shot but with snow. Needless to say it didn't turn out as nicely as yours did.

Some comments; hope you don't mind the honesty..

- Watch the vignetting on your WA lens. I only say that because you and your team are so good now that minor stuffs like that starts to hurt the production value when showcasing your work to bigger clients. Get that new WA lens NOW! =).
- Be wary of your shadows when performing the glidecam work. I know how difficult it is to watch out for those things when shooting due to the amount of concentration required to get those shots to work.
- Shots of the eyes before the 1 min mark; the colour grading on that shot I could see some brides potentially complaining.

I really like the 2.35:1 masking. Also give my compliments to Alvin for the consistent quality of edits (as well as the rest of your team).

Hmmm, about the eyes on the 1 min mark, we only did minimal color grading for most of the scenes on this one and i don't really see anything that the bride would not find really good about it... Hmm, must be because the makeup wasn't finished yet?

About the shadows, yep! The church was pretty much backlighted so we placed two lights up front in the altar. I guess that's the reason about the shadow during the walk of the groom with his parents when Alvin was gliding his way across. Hehehe!
