Hello all. I have been playing around using h.264 for quite some time for web delivery and now I want to start trying pro res 422 if it can help make files smaller for web delivery.
Shooting with sony V1u and Hcr7 can someone school me on the best way to go about the whole workflow?
I shoot mostly in 1080/60i
I would like to output for web delivery at 720p using pro res 422 . Is this a good Idea?
Do I capture in pro res or 60i?
Do I compress in FCP or should I choose " none" for compressor and go pro res in compressor?
O is it better to stick with H.264?
sorry if this is a newbie question and I do realize there are some topics on pro res but after reading them Im a bit confused.
Most of my stuff is under 15 minutes long. Thanks-
