Hi, I'm new to this forum, but i've read through a lot of stuff. Anyway I couldn't find any information about my specific problem.
I'm trying to capture footage from tape into premiere cs3 and some wierd things are happening. The transport controls work, i can play, fast forward, and reverse through the computer. But the picture won't show on the screen. Also the record button is greyed out. What is going on? Is it something to do with the computer, the program, or the camera settings.

I just realized that the HDV capturing setting is not available under project settings... does anyone know why that would happen. I'm using the trial version by the way, although I don't think that means anything because we were able to capture HDV a few days ago.
