Hi guys.

Quick question.

How long does your 110 take to start up? (From switching on to seeing image on EVF)

Cheers

Hey Hunter. Thats interesting...mine takes 5 secs although I'm sure when I first got it it was switching on more quickly.

Anyone any ideas on this ?

Hi Joseph.

Ok thats sounds more like it then....I would be interesting to see if 5 secs is about the norm for the 100's. As I said I'm sure when I first got it a couple of weeks ago it was starting up faster....

Anyone else?

My 111 is in SA at the moment, so I can't check; but it's certainly more like 5 secs than 2 - and I think actually more than 5. I remember being disappointed when I first got it about how long it takes to fire up, compared to my previous Sony broadcast camera.

That said, power consumption on the HD is so miserly compared to my old Sony, that I can afford to leave it switched on and in stand-by most of the time.
