Hi

I can't find the link from a very helpful gentleman by the name of John Amstrong on this site: re -> Work Flow For Capture with Canon AVCHD Cam.

He describes turning the Canon Cam on so that it is seen on the desktop Open FCS -> EASYSETUP -> PROREZ and everything works really well through FCS, however when I do this I get a GREY screen on my HF10 viewfinder stating that I can't disconnect the Cam from the PC or I can't disconnect the power cord and I can't physically turn the Cam off, ie the power button doesn't respond and the only way I can disconnect / turn off the camera is to pull the Battery out.

Thank you John for a workflow that gets my AVCHD video into my FCS, but what's the way out?
