I bought a follow focus unit from India, and it works pretty well. The problem is the "clamp on" ring gears for each lens (The lens has to be cradled in a gear which then meshes with the main gear of the follow focus unit). They only have six different size rings available. One of them fits my Nikon 50mm 1.8, and the other fits my 85 f1.4. I recently bought a Nikon 28mm and plan to also get a 35mm f2.0. They don't have one to fit the 28mm. So it seems that I bought asystem that is limited as to what gear rings they make.
I looked all over and didn't see any similar gear rings offered. Has anyone else had this same problem? If this Indian system is definately limited, I might be able to exchange it for something else. Can anyone reccomend an affordable follow focus rig that will work with the letus extreme and any lens?
