I have some EX1 files on the timeline, about 100 clips, i need to render them out as HDV for someone else so i can give the footage to them for editing.
Is it possible to have the rendered clips as seperate clips instead of one long clip ?
If not is there a quick way to insert a marker at the beginning of every clip at once instead of adding each marker manually ?
Thanks.
Paul.

I can't see a particularly easy way to automatically render each individual clip.
Excalibur http://www.jetdv.com/excalibur/home.php has a feature to add a marker to the begiining of each event or to make a region of each event.
Or if you're not too bothered about the naming of the files - create a keyboard shortcut for Render As... - then get into the routine of..
double click event (which selects it)
Render As (keyboad shortcut)
filename is highlighted - just save a s a number - eg "1"
Return
move onto next clip - call it "2"
not brilliant - and i'm sure more experienced Vegas users will offer a better solution.

...Excalibur http://www.jetdv.com/excalibur/home.php has a feature to... make a region of each event...
Which can then be used with the stock vegas batch render script, select render by region... and you're done.
