The only thing I still have on Win2K is my weenie IIS server, but I thought this would be a good read since so many people out there in DV land still use Win2K.

I think I'll wait, since I don't have the time to rebuild my file server right now.

Thanks Dan... That may have prevented some headaches!

It's pretty normal with every service pack to have a slew of people that have problems. The most notorious one was when Service Pack 1 came out of XP... whew, that was a nightmare for most people instead of just a small minority.

On the plus side, I've updated 4 Win2k computers with SP4 with nary an issue. 2 were Win2k pro workstations, and 2 were Advanced Server, one of which is used to host about 20 sites.

Heaved a sigh of relief when all went without a hitch!

Oh and if you decide to upgrade never do it DURING a product.
Do it when you have time to rebuilt the system, if needed!

My point exactly Rob.......just in case a "last known good configuration" does not work.....I would be in a world of hurt right now....

Even though I've been really lucky in the past......
