I've decided to spring for the senn mic, I'm excited...I hope it's worth it...and now I'm onto tripod...I think manfrotto is the way to go, I plan to do alot of filming on the mountian (filming my snowboarding friends) and basically just get some stable shots since I'm really shaky...so what do you guys think? I'm 163 cm, so I don't need one that's gonna be like 174 cm's or somthing like that, a smaller and lighter version for carrying around that isn't going to crap out on my cam and fall over. Anybody had any experience with tripods in the snow? I imagine that they have ski poly kinda deals...(the powder?!)
Anyways, why can I get 5 panasonic dv tapes in korea for 30 canadian dollars when the tapes on bhphotovideo are 9.95 u.s. each? What's up with that?

You don't say what camera you're going to use the MKE 300 on. Sennheiser make a 300D model for (D)igital cams because they've found that the 300 version hums horribly on a lot of them. The D version was fine on my TRV900 and VX2000, but the 300 was quite unuseable.

using a mx 2500 cam....300d you say...will look into it for sure...I'd be a little ticked off if I could hear it buzz...
