Question for Allan (or anyone)

Allan, since the hoopla began with the MX3000, have you noticed any significant video improvement with the MX5000 and GS100? I bet you can see the difference in 16:9 mode, but how about playback on a large S-video, 4:3 TV?

My guess would be #2, but I have no way of seeing other than comparing the specs and res tests. #5 is also applicable in my case because I keep having to take my glasses off to look at the LCD or viewfinder; and I do believe I'm long overdue for new eyewear. However, what the Hell! I can always point and shoot in auto mode. Mounted on a good tripod, it's easy to point and pan. The only trouble is I have to dismount 'er to change the tape. (I'm a bottom loader owner.) Okay, gotta go. South Park is on! :)
