My screen is angled down when open. Is there a way to tighten this up since it feels a little loose? Any one else have this problem?

Yes, I have the crooked screen issue as well. My z1 did the same thing after a while but the EX did it after the fourth or fifth shoot.

I would love to find a way to fix either or both.

Thanks for the response Mike. Never had the problem with my Z1 but I think it is common with the EX1. Hate to send it back and loose two weeks of work so lets hope someone has fixed the problem.

Hi Paul,

Did you post about some loose screws in the handle as well?

Yikes two weeks? This time of year that would spell trouble for me.

I think I will send it in for my missing screws or just try to get them and put them in. Not sure where to get the info on the screws though.

All the best.

Hi Mike,

No loose screws in the handle maybe me but not that camera.

The problem I have is the LCD is at a down to the left angle and makes it tough in the helicopter for easy framing while on the move. I am going to look into it in more detail today but am not willing to take things apart too much with 4 days of shooting coming up.

Mike looking at the LCD in detail it seems that the pivot point in the handle is loose or have worn. I tried tightening all the screws in the area but did not take the handle/LCD apart.

Even when it is closed it is down a little under the mic so the pivot is off. This was not the case when new so something has changed.
