my good friend, DP Ed Henry of April Films shot all this the
last few weeks on my HD100.

I can safely say these are the greatest images to come out
of my camera.

Very nice. Did he use any 35mm adapters?

Thanks Ralph

surprisingly no, just the stock lens.

He shot the items very close to the camera (I don't see any ca) and
made use of the macro and iris to get the depth of field just right.

This all was done over a period of 14 days with 2 setups per day.

Mark,

Indeed you are right the images are stunning, so rich colors were produced! Love your video, HD100 seems to be great camera! I am proud owner of JVC GZ-HD7 & Canon HV20, I love JVC's colors!

Hey, is it possible for you to allow me download your video in full HD mode? I would really appreciate if you can upload somewhere so then I can download.

Thanks,
Kaushik

GREAT reel!

If I may ask, did they have a turntable? And if so, which one? I need to do some product shots soon and I am pretty interested in that...

Thanks

He used a home made turntable with a "micro force" zoom motor from
an Aaton Super 16 camera.

NICE!! here's a great example (to those of you that poopoo on 720 and all things low dollar) of how human skill far outweighs technical toys. Great images, my hat is off to you...nice to see some craft.

This should be posted at ExposureRoom.com as they accept and play 720p.

or at vimeo, they now host HD. I posted 720 24p there.

Great work. They say "if you can shoot food, you can shoot anything."

There is a cooking show shot out here by CM Productions. Their last series was shot on three JVC GY-HD--- , outside broadcast style through a vision mixer with three screens in a sort of video city. One of them is a HD 250. They had high-quality 2/3" style lenses on them, not the standard Fujinons.
