Hello
Think the title says it all - since i'm looking for a new 'B' camera, i'm looking at options besides the Sony Hc3 -

Question which i'm hoping i could get help with - I'm shooting with the Sony Fx1 primarily. Using FCP as my NLE. Has anyone experienced any issues capturing FX1 footage through the Canon HV20? If so, is there a workaround?

Would appreciate any help on this. Cheers!

Vish

I did some cross testing with the small Sony and Canon (HC7 and HV20), and didn't have any problems in a brief test...

I think you might run a search, as others have used this configuration. There are some potential incompatibilities, but if you shoot "plain vanilla" 60i you should be pretty safe.

I do it all the time, as my FX1 port is dead.

Yes, 60i.

I have captured 60i as well as Cineframe24 and 30. That is because they are both in a 60i stream. I have used Cineform to perform pull down removal at capture, too.
