Hi all, I want to film some sports, but want to slow the footage down, some to 10%. What would be the best settings on my camera ? Everytime i tried it the footage gos jitty . Want it to be hd and edited in fcp 6.3.

you can't overcrank the camera so you're stuck with jittery. 10% is insanely slow. you can mess with shutter speed, but you will NEVER be able to get rid of the jittery look - there just isn't the data nor are there the frames...

nevermind , saw some amazing footage this week, it was really slowed up, think they were using the sony ex1

You could try a program called Twixtor. They have an FX Plugin for FCP and there is a demo available on there website.

I've seen this used in many projects with varying results. Most of the time the footage looks very smooth. Only time I've seen a problem was with a lower shutter on a green screen which gave some unforgiving results. Exposure problem not the software but slowing it down only made it worse. Give it a try, I'm personally trying the demo out as well. I have a shoot next week that involves the call for smooth slow-mo. If the demo gets me the results I'm looking for I will be purchasing it.
