I'm using Anamorphic lenses on SD 3 chip cams (DVX-100A and VX-1000). How does (or how do you think) that looks upresed to HD. What would be the process?

Theres a program called Transition:

Transition HD- High Definition Video Conversion Software (http://www.kazazz.com/transition/)

Has anyone ever heard of/used it before and what are the results - and if there is better standalone software, what is it?

From just a quick glance at the help section on the website, it sounds like Transition HD is simply using bi-cubic re-sampling (not sure how they think that's patentable).
