View Full Version : Could you recommend a decent mic for VX2000 for interviews

Greetings,

Could you please recommend me a good microphone for VX2000. I am making interviews and sound quality is as important as the picture. I understand that Sennheiser MKE300 and K6/ME66 are "too good" for the VX2000; so what is the solution?

I would go with a ME66 or even the too good ME60.

I've heard good things about Ambient Tinymike. DV Magazine reviewed it:

I personally use an on-camera mike from Israeli company www.dvmix.co.il. They basically make nice camera mount embodiment for AT OEM hypercardoid capsule. Sounds quite good. It's somewhat similar to Senn MKE300, but with no camera noise pickup and hum.
